TERMS AND CONDITIONS – “Regional Points Conversion Campaign (October to November 2021)”
1. This “Regional Points Conversion Campaign (October to November 2021)” [“Campaign”] is organised by BIGLIFE Sdn. Bhd. [“BIG” or “Organiser”].
2. By participating in this Campaign, all participants [“Participants”] will be deemed to have read, understood and expressly agreed to be bound by the Terms & Conditions of this Campaign as stated herein and any additional terms and conditions stipulated by the Organiser (as may be applicable) including the decisions of the Organiser in all matters related thereto.
3. Information on how to participate in this Campaign forms part of these conditions of entry. Registration for and/or participation in this Campaign is deemed as acceptance of the conditions of entry. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions is a condition of entry.
4. This Campaign runs concurrently in all the participating regions and/or countries as provided in clause 5(b) below starting from 15th October 2021, 00:00 (GMT +8) and ends on 14th November 2021, 23:59 (GMT +8) (both dates inclusive) unless advised otherwise by the Organiser (“Campaign Period”). The Organiser reserves the right to amend or extend the duration of the Campaign at any time as deemed fit without notice or liability to Participants.
5. To qualify and participate in this Campaign, Participants must fulfil the following requirements during the Campaign Period (“Campaign Requirements”): -
a. Be an existing BIG Member (having subscribed and registered for membership under the loyalty and rewards program operated by BIG under the name “BIG Rewards”) and have a unique registration number known as the “BIG Member ID” issued by BIG at the point of participation in the Campaign; and
b. Hold valid loyalty membership accounts offered by the Organiser's partners listed in accordance with the respective countries below ("Organiser's Partners") : -
c. Must be located in Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand only (based on the Internet Protocol geo-location detected); and
d. Convert any of the Organiser’s Partner’s rewards points into BIG Points by contacting the respective Organiser’s Partners (which can be found on BIG’s website) on their respective platforms or via hotline, or via BIG Xchange platform on the BIG Rewards mobile application or AirAsia mobile application (collectively referred to as the “Dedicated Platform”), during the Campaign Period to entitled to receive bonus BIG Points as follows (“Bonus BIG Points”):-
i. For new BIG Points converters (BIG Member who has never performed any points conversion from any of the Organiser’s Partners since registration as a BIG Member):- 100% Bonus BIG Points in addition to the regular BIG Points earned pursuant to the standard conversion rate fixed by the respective Organiser’s Partners; or
ii. For existing BIG Points converters (BIG Member who has performed a minimum of one time points conversion from any of the Organiser’s Partners since registration as a BIG Member):- 50% Bonus BIG Points in addition to the regular BIG Points earned pursuant to the standard conversion rate fixed by the respective Organiser’s Partners.
For the avoidance of doubt, all Participants are allowed to make multiple points conversion transactions with no minimum amount of point conversion pursuant to this Campaign.
6. Only successful conversions (subject to fulfilment of Clause 5 above) made during the Campaign Period via the Dedicated Platform will be deemed as qualified for the Campaign entitlement. Unsuccessful conversions pursuant to this Campaign will be disqualified without notice to Participants.
7. The BIG Points and Bonus BIG Points will be credited into the eligible Participant’s BIG Member account within ninety (90) working days after the end of the Campaign Period (or any other period as the Organiser deems necessary) subject to the Organiser receiving all information as deemed necessary.
8. The Organiser reserves the absolute right, at any time, to verify the validity of the transaction and eligibility of Participants. Without limitation, Participants agree to provide necessary documentations and information to the Organiser upon request. The Organiser’s decision in relation to all aspects of the Campaign are final, binding, and conclusive under any circumstances and no correspondence nor appeal will be entertained.
9. If for any reason this Campaign is unable to proceed or continue as planned, including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of the Organiser which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Campaign, the Organiser reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, postpone or suspend the Campaign.
10. The Organiser reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any Participant and/or to retract or forfeit the award of the BIG Points and/or Bonus BIG Points from any Participant if the Organiser reasonably believes the Participant has (singularly or jointly with any other Participant) undertaken fraudulent practice and/or activities to earn the BIG Points and/or Bonus BIG Points or undertaken in any other activities harmful to this Campaign or to the Organiser.
11. The Organiser reserves the absolute right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Campaign with or without any prior notice and/or assigning any reason. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by the Organiser shall not entitle the Participants to any claim or compensation against the Organiser for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.
12. The Organiser accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted, or misdirected conversion, transaction or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction or otherwise.
13. The Organiser, its subsidiaries, affiliates and associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Campaign, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
14. The Terms and Conditions contained herein shall prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions, or representation contained in any other promotional or advertising materials for the Campaign.
15. The Organiser reserves the absolute right to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions (wholly or in part) from time to time without any prior notice to the Participants.
16. The information Participants provide will be used by the Organiser for the purpose of conducting this Campaign. The Organiser may disclose Participant’s personal information to contractors and/or agents to assist in conducting this Campaign.
18. BIG Points and Bonus BIG Points cannot be exchanged for cash.
19. Usage of BIG Points and Bonus BIG Points are subject to the BIG Membership Terms and Conditions which can be found at www.airasiabig.com.
20. These Terms and Conditions may be translated into other languages. In the event of inconsistencies between these Terms and Conditions and the translated versions, the English version shall prevail.
21. Terms and conditions of the respective Organiser’s Partners shall also apply and can be found on their respective websites.
22. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
